Curtin University was established 1966, in the city of Perth Western Australia. The university was founded as a public university and is funded and managed by the government. The University is ranked as one of the top prestigious universities in the world (falling among the top 400 in different ranking bodies), It is a full time four year institution committed to academic excellence, distribution of quality education content, it is actively involved in research and collaboration in solving local and global problems.

Curtin University has several campuses which are used by her students both within and outside Australia. The university has a large student body with about over forty thousand students and with a decent staff to student ratio of about 1:10 which is quite healthy, there is good staff/student relationship. The university has a large student body which is also diverse consisting of students for different religions, and sociocultural background both locally and internationally coupled with the fact of being a coeducational instuitution.

Admission into Curtin University is quite competitive as many students want to study in the university. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in sciences, social sciences, health sciences, arts & management courses amongst others. Tuition for this university many people might tag it as expensive going for over $15,000 however the university offers financial aid programs to her students, however please note that tuition varies across the different academic programs.
