State University of New York at Oswego is one f quite a number of new York based universities, it was founded in the year 1861 and it is located in one of the place in the nation a university can be located in, the university has a medium sized student population of over 7,000 students and a staff to student ratio of about 1:17, which seems pretty decent , it is a full time coeducational university that welcome domestic and international students from different parts of the country and the world.

State University of New York at Oswego offers over 100 majors at both the undergraduate and the postgraduate level in social sciences and a couple of other areas of study. A large portion of the university students live on campus as the university has over 10 halls of residence, all the dorms are good and well managed plus living on campus is way cooler. There are over 200 organizations and about 24 sport teams.

The university is particular about figuring out how it’s widely diverse community can be used to as a hub of innovation, and learning while respecting other person different characteristics and beliefs. as an institutions it runs on a number of core values, some of which include, civil houses, social justice and several others. Also the university admits international students and it also participates in summer exchange programs.

The university is into a lot of research with the students and faculty collaborating on interesting projects, other are funding opportunities for those who might need it, worth over six million dollar and the university gives out a decent amount of research grand. Gi Lakers!!! Well Lakers are the university sport teams nickname and some of the sports here include baseball, basketball volleyball etc.
