Virginia Commonwealth University located in Virginia is an American based public university established in the year 1838. It is one of the best universities in the state and it was founded for a number of reasons some of which include providing equal access to quality education to her immediate community and as a research based university that proffers innovative solutions to local and international problems via research.

Virginia Commonwealth University ranks as one of the top universities in the nation in subject areas cutting across arts and health sciences, the university also ranks among the top 1,1000 overall best universities in the word coming up among the top 600.
