Washington and Lee University is an American based university that was founded in the late 1940s, it is a private institution located in Virginia that was named after George Washington and Robert E lee, The university since it’s inception has been focused on providing the best liberal art education in the nation, it exposes her students to a lot of resources that influence their thought process giving them problem solving and analytic al thinking abilities, besides their intellectual development, they are also trained to be morally sound.

Washington and Lee University is ranked among the top 100 best universities in the USA by a few university ranking bodies, in some others it comes in among the top 300 best universities in the USA. Washington and Lee University offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in in subject areas like social sciences and law, students are also involved in research during their time in school. They have a number of opportunities like financial, grants, fellowships and internships etc.

The university has a quite competitive admission process as It has a low acceptance rate, which is estimated to go for about 25%. Washington and Lee University campus is cools and it’s proximity to the mountains leads a lot of fun and exploration, campus life is also really cools as Lexington has some of the best restaurants you could wish for, the food there is just superb, not like the dining facilities in campus are bad, they are also good but in town they are great. Students are involved in a lot of recreation activities outside the classroom, some of the sports include tennis, soccer, baseball and others and they are played by both men and women.

Washington and Lee University tuition alone is estimated to go for about $48,000 but the entire cost of attendance per year is estimated to pull in another $20,000.
