Architecture and Urban Design Polytechnic National School is a four year Algerian institution that was established in the year 1970, the university/polytechnic is located in the Algiers, one of the most densely populated areas in Algeria. The university is a committed research institution and will continue to collaborate with others in an attempt to proffer solutions to local and international problems. The university is also quite committed to training her students to be amazing architects as the name implies. Students are trained both on the drawing and research aspects of architecture within a period of about 5 years (as at the tie of this writing). The university has a relatively small student body and it is not too diverse, Architecture and Urban Design Polytechnic National School however admits both local and international students from different parts of the world irrespective of their religious ad other socio-cultural background. The university runs a per semester academic calendar and offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate degree in science and technology courses, most especially architecture. Architecture and Urban Design Polytechnic National School is a coeducational university and a full time university, it provides a conducive learning environment for her students which include the provision of well a furnished library with a ton of education resources, well equipped labs, with modern technology for experiments and research, accommodations facilities for her students amongst others.
