Université Ferhat Abbas Sétif

Université Ferhat Abbas de Sétif which can also be called the Ferhat Abass University or University of Sétif 1 is an Algerian public university established in the year1978, the university is located in a town called Setif in Algeria. It is funded and managed by the public i.e. government and not private individuals. The university has a large student body with almost forty thousand students as at the time of this writing. And a large number of academic and non-academic staff resulting into a good student staff ratio for an optimal learning experience. Ten university is a research driven university, it is an innovative institution and hopes to become well known for academic excellence both in Algeria and in the world. The university has over five faculties and a large number of laboratories for teaching and research. Students are exposed to both classroom knowledge and practical knowledge they would need in the industry upon graduation. The university is a coeducational university with no religious affiliation, this results into a relatively diverse student body. The Ferhat abass university runs a per semester academic calendar and operates as a fulltime university offering both undergraduate and postgrad academic programs in different fields, like sciences, technology, health e=sciences, social sciences and several other fields. Admission into this university is very competitive and the university has a well laid out campus conducive for learning and providing the necessary facilities students need, we are aware the university offers a well-equipped and furnished library but are currently unaware if she provide accommodation facilities for her students.
