Imo State Polytechnic is a state funded and managed polytechnic located in Umuagwo, Imo state South East Nigeria. The polytechnic was founded in 1978. Imo state
Polytechnic trains her students with quality education and skillset towards sustainable national development in Nigeria. Imo State Polytechnic tuition is very affordable to the average nigerian and it is below N100,000.
Imo state provides students with quality facilities including accommodation, library, good road network, electricity etc. Imo State Polytechnic courses (ND/HND)cut across Agriculture, Engineering, Science & Technology, Arts, Management and other Social science subjects. The student body is relatively diverse.
Imo state Polytechnic has no religious or cultural affiliation ad doesn't take that into consideration when admitting students, however the school has more students from the south east region of the country. Probably because of proximity.
