Federal University, Lafia

This is a federal university located in lafia, the state capital of Nassarawa state located in north central Nigeria. Nassarawa is located beside Abuja the country�s capital. The university was established in 2011 in order to reduce pressure on already existing universities that could no longer accommodate applicants. The university has no religious, cultural or age constrains and this allows the university to have a diverse student body with individuals from different age brackets.

The University's school fees is cheap [less than N100K] affordable and has a relatively competitive admission process. Federal University, Lafia courses are bachelors degree programs in science, social sciences etc. The university also provides infrastructure and amenities like good classrooms and college buildings, a library, good hostels etc. Cost of living in Nassarawa is not so expensive and some students tend to live off campus in the state's capital.
