Imo state university

Imo state university located in Owerri, Imo state is a state owned university funded y the imo state government. The university was founded in 1981.The university encourages its students to be creative in providing solutions to problems from the knowledge they gain in school. The university as no accommodation facilities to the best of our knowledge.

Imo state university also has no religious affiliation and its student body isn't so diverse culturally because the bulk of its students sre from the Igbo ethnic group with a few from south south Nigeria. The university offers degree program in science, arts, management, education, agriculture and medicine. Imo state university has a large student body and admission into it is very competitive.

Imo state university school is very affordable in terms of tuition [n100,000 - n200,000] and a lot of Nigerians can afford it, one of the factors influencing its large student body.
