Michael Okpara University of Agriculture

Michael Okpara University is a federal university located in Umudike, Abia state, The University was founded in 1992 as an agriculture intensive university seeing the need for more skilled manpower in agriculture the federal government established the university. Michael Okpara University has a medium sized student and staff population that is relatively diverse in terms of religion and age brackets as most of the university's students are from south east Nigeria and environs.

The university offers bachelors and masters degrees in programs cutting cross agriculture, science, arts, management, social science and education. Admission into this university is very competitive and the university accepts local and international students. Please note that the tuition for local and international students may vary.

Michael Okpara University school fees is less than N100k and it provides accommodation and other infrastructure for its students a library, constant electricity etc. A bulk of students in the university live off campus.
