University of Mkar is a private university located in Benue state north central Nigeria. The university was established in 2005 as a private Christian university and was approved by the National Universities commission, The University was established by Universal Reformed Church of Christ (URCC).
University of Mkar offers various bachelors degrees cutting across Agriculture, Education, Sciences, Arts and management. Admission into this university is relatively competitive and the university admits students irrespective of cultural backgrounds.
