Somaliland University of Technology

Somaliland University of Technology is as the name implies a technology oriented university. It is based in Somalia and it is a contemporary university i.e. it was established in the early 2000s. The university is located in Woqooyi Galbeed region of Somaliland. The university is a private university and so is not funded or managed by the government. The university is motivated to pushing the frontiers of technology knowledge an advancement in technology in the nation. The founders saw gap, the lack of sufficient technological, man power in the nation and set out this university to fill that gap by training her students to be competent in numerous feuds in technology. Student are exposed to the skillset and knowledgebase they need to be experts in their areas of interest in technology. The university is not affiliated to any culture in the country, it is a coeducation university. The University offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate academic degrees in fields such as sciences, social sciences, agriculture, engineering and several others .it has a rather small student population. And is admission process is not very competitive. Please note Somaliland University of Technology also admits international students from different parts of the world. The university also provides diplomas in various vocational studies. her campus are well laid out and conducive for learning.
