Chinhoyi University of Technology

Chinhoyi University of Technology is one of Zimbabwe’s contemporary universities, as the name implies it is a technology oriented university that is located in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe. Since its establishment in 2001, the publicly funded and managed university has been committed to becoming a world class university known for academic excellence and innovation in technology. The university's core values include intelligence, excellence, democracy and a number of others. Chinhoyi University of Technology provides her students with excellent education resources and modern better teaching practices. Student are exposed to both classroom knowledge and how they can be applied to solve problems in the real world. The university is also involved in research and development to provide solutions to problems in her immediate society . To achieve this it is involved in collaborations with other universities and industry. Chinhoyi University of Technology runs a per semester academic calendar and has a small student and staff population, the students to staff ratio is quite good and fosters for better relationships between the two parties and ultimately learning. The university tuition is quite affordable, it varies per degree type or academic program and goes for between 500 to about 25000 Zimbabwean dollar. The university has no religious or cultural affiliation and admits all students both local and international, the admissions process is very competitive. The university offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate academic program in her faculties, some of these faculties include school of agriculture science and tech, school of engineering science and tech and several others. The university has good facilities and creates an optimal learning environment for her students.
