Agricultural Economics Extension

It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course are exposed to the application of economic theories in optimizing how food and fiber are produced and distributed. The Agricultural extension aspect, students are taught how to apply research to agricultural practices by educating farmers.

Generally, agricultural extension can be defined as the �delivery of information inputs to farmers.� Farmers are educated on how to improve their productivity on their farms.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, The subject of study and two relevant subjects in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, the subject of study and three relevant subjects.
