Agricultural Engineering

With Many Farmers still using manual approaches to farming, not much can be achieved in Agriculture. However Mechanized farming changes the way agriculture is being practiced. Farming and harvesting is done faster and more efficiently thanks to tractors harvesters etc. This course exposes students to how engineering is applied in the development of tractors and other machines that are used in Agriculture, They also learn how to maintain these machines. It is a Five year degree and Graduates of the Course have career opportunities as Agricultural Engineers, Farmers etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Agricultural Science, Physics and Chemistry.
