Animal Production

The Meat, the fish, the chicken we consume everyday are available because someone reared them for the purpose of consumption. Animal Production teaches students the different aspects and practices involved in the production and distribution of Animals and Livestock for Production.
These Animals are reared in Farms across the country mostly for food. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this Course have career opportunities as Ranchers

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, either Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,either Geography or Economics or Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Agricultural Science.
