Bio-Medical Engineering


As the Name implies, Biomedical Engineering talks about three things, Biology, Medicine and Engineering. Students learn these three subjects individually then are taught on how they can be integrated together. They are exposed to how engineering can be integrated with Medicine and Biology and how these integration affects lives in various sectors, with more Emphasis on Hospital and Health care services.

Its a really broad course and individuals who intend to study this course must have been comfortable with mathematics, biology, physics and chemistry. Interested students could even begin looking up articles on the field. It is a Five year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities such as biomedical engineers etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and One other Science Subject.
