Building Technology
Yes there are many skilled bricklayers so you'd wonder why someone would study this course, but Building Technology goes beyond just laying bricks. This course exposes students to the principles involved in the design and construction of Buildings. Students learn how to apply technology into Building Construction. In the course of their study Undergraduates learn topics that cut across Architecture, Civil Engineering etc.
It is a five year degree course and Graduates have career opportunities as Builders, Civil engineer Assistants and Architect Assistants etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Physcis, Chemistry and Mathematics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
