Chemistry

Undergraduates are exposed to the structure, properties and changes that occur in matter and different chemicals. They learn about chemical properties, this knowledge would Help individuals know when and what scenario to use different chemicals. They also learn how to detect chemicals. Students learn about the different bonds between chemicals also.

It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Industrial Chemists, chemical engineers, They also have employment opportunities in Oil Companies, Large Industries etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Chemistry and two of Biology, Physisc and Mathematics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
