Civil Engineering
Have you ever seen Roads being constructed or Bridges being built? At least once you've probably seen those vehicles used in fixing roads, they are done by civil engineers. The course is broad as it involves students learning the design principles of physical manmade structures, the rules governing both the design but the implementation of these projects.
Students learn how to work in teams and meet timelines, they are also taught how to maintain already existing structures. It is a Five year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as civil engineers who get numerous contracts.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and One other Science Subject.
