Counsellor Education


Counsellors are needed especially in the education sector particularly to guide students in their career path, there are however very few counsellors and thus the need for this course. Students learn the skills needed to be professional counsellors, by making use of a well drafted curriculum in counselling. Counselling is practical and so students of this course are also trained in the practical aspect and not just the theoretical aspect.
It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course could have career opportunities such as Government school psychologist, counsellors etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language and Any three subjects in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Three other relevant subjects.
