Undergraduates study Population of different regions. The course teaches how to conducts statistical examinations of the composition, distribution and transition of the human population. Some students could decide to specialize. This course is very useful as students learn how to collect data from different parts of the country, interpret it and draw conclusions. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Demographers.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Economics or Geography and any two other social science subjects in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Economics, Government and Geography.
