Early Childhood EducationYoung children are delicate and the importance of quality education in the early stages of their lives cannot be over emphasized. Lots of older children still struggle in their academics because of poor foundation early in their education. This course teaches undergraduates how to take care of young children between infancy and 5 years old. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course are able to do this because they have been exposed to children mental and physical growth stages and so have a better understanding on how to teach young children. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities such as Primary school teacher, Nursery school teachers etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Any three relevant subjects in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Three other relevant subjects.
