A Proper Understanding of How Nigerian Economy and how the economies of developed nations work could be the first step in improving Nigeria. Economics students take topics cutting across mathematics, Business, micro and macroeconomics etc in the process students learn about the financial market.

Economics are useful in helping organizations make proper decisions and predict trends in a market. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Economists, Budget and Financial Analysts etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Economics, Mathematics and Governemt in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any two other social science subjects.
