Education and Economics
This course trains students to teach economics, to do this they first learn about different concepts in economics like demand, supply etc. They are then thought methods and approaches that can be employed to the teaching of economics in mostly secondary schools in Nigeria. They are taught about writing lesson notes etc. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course could have career opportunities such as Economics teachers etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Economics, Mathematics and either of Geography, Physics,government or Literature in English in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Economics and two other relevant subjects.
