Students have boosted strength in all areas of English language. They often have better communication skills than students of other courses. Students also learn different concepts in linguistics and English Literature It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as writers, editors etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Literature in English, One Arts and One Social Science Subject in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Literature in English and any two other subjects.
