Family Nutrition & Consumer Services
This is a unique course and is only offered by Obafemi Awolowo University. Students learn topics cutting across Biology, Chemistry etc. Students of Family, Nutrition and Consumer services have a better understanding of food processes and ultimately improve food products for the general public. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Food scientists etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, either Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, chemistry, biology, physics anf either one of Fine Arts, Home Management, Food and Nutrition.
