This Unique course cuts across different aspects of food and nutrition, biology, chemistry etc, and Individuals hoping to study this course are expected to have good foundation in these subjects. The course teaches Students how to diagnose and treat diseases caused by food poisoning etc. It is a Five year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Food Scientists.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and One other Science Subject.
