Human Nutrition & Dietetics
By now we all know the basic nutrients for animals; Carbohydrates, proteins etc. This course takes students deeper by exposing them to how these various nutrients are used in the body, the different processes involved, students also learn how these nutrients allows people to live healthy lives. They are taught about how what people consume affects their health etc. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course could have career oppurtunities such as Dietitians and Nutritionists, Dietetic Technicians etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
