Library Information Science
Students learn how to maintain the day to day activities of a Library, they also learn how to merge library science and information science. Library Management has evolved from just organizing Different books on shelves, Today Libraries have different technologies and Software. Most Libraries today have e-Library. This course teaches students how to implement new technologies into library management in order to manage libraries better.
It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have Career Opportunities as Liberians etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Either Chemistry or Biology or Economics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics and any two other science subjects.
