This course exposes students to different concepts in mathematics like Geometry, Statistics etc. Mathematics is relevant in solving problems in different field in the society and students are shown how it can be applied. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Mathematicians, Statisticians, Mathematics and Statistics Teachers etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Any other Science Subject in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Any other science subject.
