Petroleum Engineering

Very Similar to chemical engineering and even gas engineering, this course creates the much needed skilled manpower in Nigeria's Oil sector. The course takes students through a series of theoretical and practical concepts in chemistry and more important hydrocarbons. Aspirants are therefore admonished to prepare for lab works during the course of their study, they should also be comfortable with Mathematics and Chemistry from secondary school.

It is a Five year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course have career opportunities as Petroleum Engineers.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and One other Science Subject.
