Pharmacy

Most times individuals� ailments are not so serious that they need to see a doctor, more often they just go to a nearby pharmacy to see a pharmacist. This course trains students to be pharmacists by teaching them about different drugs and what drugs can be used for different ailments. Very similar to pharmacology, students learn about the chemical effects of these drugs on humans.

It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course could have career opportunities such as Pharmacologists, Clinical Pharmacologists, Veterinary pharmacologists, Pharmacists etc.

To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
