Veterinary Medicine
In this course, Undergraduates are exposed to different methods in diagnosis and treatment of animal�s ailments and diseases, Animals in this context does not refer to Human beings, rather pets and Domesticated animals like cats, dogs, canaries etc. The course is very broad as students learn a lot about different species in the animal kingdom, they'd have to learn Botanical names at some point which can be quite difficult for people who don�t like keeping such names in their head, truth of the matter is you get used to it with time and its a very exciting course. It is a Four year bachelor's degree program and graduates of this course could have career opportunities such as veterinary doctors etc.
To be Admitted into this course Aspirants are expected to take English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the annual UTME examination, They are also expected to have a 5 credit pass in WAEC/NECO with subjects including Mathematics, English Language,Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
