UUniversity of Colorado Springs is one of the old and prestigious university in colorado, USA, It was established in the mid 1960s as a full time public coeducation university, since its inception the university has made a lot of progress in terms of ranking, recognition and accolades, it is one of the top 5 best public universities in the states and it ranks among the top 40% best universities in the united states, it is also one of the best universities in the nation in some subject areas in the field of health sciences.

University of Colorado Springs has a medium sized student population which is not too large but has quite decent staff to student ratio of about 1:16, over 30% of the university student population are diverse, The campus has accommodation and dining facilities, the university is also dedicated to military students, as at the time of this writing about 20% of the student population are affiliated with the military.
