University of Maine

University of Maine is one of the coolest universities in the state of Maine USA, was established in the mid 1850s and since then it has grown and in all areas. It is ranked among the top 30% best universities in the united states by a lot of university ranking sites, it is also known to have a very high research output addressing a lot of local and international problems. Not only is the university located in a pretty cool town but it also has a cool campus facility with a conducive environment for learning, there are good accommodation facilities, well resourced academic libraries, well equipped sport facilities and every other thing the students need to have a rich/full experience while in school.

University of Maine offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs to both domestic and international students from about 70 different countries around the world, They go through necessary and somewhat rigorous with the objective of bringing them to a level of extreme competence in terms of knowledge and skills that will be necessary and useful to them upon graduation. Some of the university’s colleges include, the college of engineering, the college of natural sciences, the college of liberal arts & Science etc.

As earlier stated it is a research focused university that is involved in a lot of collaborations with other people and institution in order to reach her research goals, it also has a decent amount of funding and some of her research areas include agriculture, technology etc.

University of Maine has an acceptance rate of about 90% so the admission selection process is not extremely competitive compared to some other universities in the nation, tuition and other fees vary based on the residency status and it goes for between $25,000 - $45,000, it also offers some form of open distance learning programs.
