Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie

University of New Caledonie also called Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie was founded in 1987 as a public university to me funded and managed by the government. The university has since been approved by the nation's educational bodies and at the time of this writing is the only university in New Caledonia. It is located in the densely populated town of Noumea and has no religious affiliation coupled with a very large and diverse student body based on several factors.

The university is committed to training her students to have a strong knowledgebase, be research driven and develop a collaborative attitude. Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie equips her students with the necessary knowledgebase to be skilled manpower who make meaning fully impact in the local and international workforce. The university has a large number of staff to help train her students and has a reasonable staff student ratio. It is a four year coeducational institution offering undergraduate degree programs in sciences, social science and several other fields.

The university admits both local and international students and has a very selective and competitive admission process, being the only one in the nation as at the time of this writing, this comes as no surprise. Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie provides a well-furnished and resourceful library, good road network and power supply in her conducive campus amongst other quality facilities to ensure students have the best academic stay.
