Auckland University of Technology

Auckland University of Technology is a public university funded and managed by the New Zealand government, it was established in the year 2000 and is located in one of the largest cities in New Zealand, Auckland. The university since its establishment in the year 2000 has grown to be one of the largest universities in the county. As the name implies it is a technology centric university which trains her students with in-depth core knowledge in technology for both practical and theoretical applications.

Their academic training is strong and thorough. Auckland University of technology has several campuses and a very conducive environment for learning, innovations and research. It is a world class university belonging to the upper top 500 of 1,000 universities. The university has no religious affiliation and welcome students from different parts of the country irrespective of their religious or socio-cultural backgrounds.

It has a large and diverse student body consisting of both local and international students. Auckland university of technology is a fulltime 4 year institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in several fields. Those fields include science and technology, social sciences etc. It is coeducational and has a very selective admission process i.e competitive. Auckland University of technology has five faculties, some of which include: Faculty of Business, Economy & law, Faculty of Culture and Society, Faculty of design and creative technology amongst others.

The university also takes part time students and has a strong alumni base. Many of her graduates get employed in about a year after graduation or less. She has well equipped buildings, library, labs and recreational facilities and runs on a per semester Academic calendar.
