University of Waikato

One university that has been around for a while and has proven to be an institution of excellence is University of Waikato. Since its establishment in 1964 has grown in leaps and bounds. Located in Hamilton, New Zealand and has a number of campuses across the country. It is officially recognized by the nation's education bodies. It is one of the top ranked universities in the country and ranks as top 400 in the world. University of Waikato has no religious affiliation and admits students irrespective of their religious or other socio-cultural backgrounds. The university has a large and diverse student body consisting of both local and international students.

The university is a fulltime 4 year institution with a well formidable staff base consisting of seasoned professionals in different fields. The university has a good student staff ratio so staff aren’t overworked and deliver their duties excellently. University of Waikato of has about four faculties including the faculty of educations, faculty of computing and mathematical sciences amongst others.

Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in sciences, social sciences, technology, medical sciences, arts and business management are provided for students. Admission is competitive and the university is coeducational, it also runs a per semester academic calendar. University of Waikato has an amazing campus facility with lawns, well-furnished library, and recreational facilities amongst others. The university has a strong alumni base.
