Ramat Polytechnic is a state polytechnic located in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state North East Nigeria. The polytechnic was established in 1973 and since inception has grown in terms of
academic programs and student body. The polytechnic has stayed true to it’s commitment to producing quality graduates knowledgeable in technology and vocational skills. The polytechnic doesn’t
have any religious affiliation being a state owned polytechnic. Aspirant from all ethnic groups and religions are free to apply.
Admission into this school is very competitive so aspirants have to prepare hard. The polytechnic doesn’t have hostels/accommodation facilities for all students, however places some level of priority on international students. Ramat polytechnic has a
well-equipped ICT center, Library and Medical center. HND/ND programs in Sciences, Engineering/Technology, Arts, Management and Social sciences.
