2021 Citizens of the World Scholarship at University of Laval, Canada


The University of Laval, Canada is currently awarding Citizens of the World Scholarship to high achieving students who are seeking to undergo a degree program at the Institution.

This new program aims to attract the world’s top talent with international student scholarships and to support Université Laval students with mobility scholarships to help them become the leaders of tomorrow.



Université Laval is a public university that was established in the year 1852. The university is a Canadian based university located in Quebec. The university has come to be known for innovation and excellence in academia and research, it is committed to driving a spirit of excellence and creativity in her students during their academic stay at the university.

Students are exposed to great learning resources and teaching methods during their academic stay in the university in order to have an optimal learning experience. It is a coeducation institution with a culturally inclusive community and one of the top ranked universities in canada and top 300 in the world. It offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate academic degree programs in sciences, social sciences, arts and several others.

Some of her faculties include faculty of law, faculty of medicine, faculty of philosophy and several others. Bachelor’s degree and professional master’s programs
  • Scholarships vary between $10,000 and $15,000.


Research master’s with thesis and PhD programs
  • Research master’s programs with thesis: Total value of $20,000 ($5,000 per semester, up to four semesters).
  • PhD: Total value of $30,000 ($5,000 per semester, up to six semesters)


Commitment scholarship
  • Master’s: Total value up to $20,000 ($5,000 per semester).
  • PhD: Total value up to $30,000 ($5,000 per semester)


Eligible Countries: International

Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must;
  • Have good academic records.
  • Be proficient in English Language
  • Have good academic records.


Application Process: You must complete the online form and submit a complete application by the required deadline. To access the application form, you must have previously applied for full admission to Université Laval, and this application must have been processed. Please allow a few days for your request to be processed.
