California State University San Marcos

California State University San Marcos is one of California’s popular public universities founded in the late 1980s, it is one of the best in the state and it has more than one campus, the university over the years has built a reputation of being an innovative future centric university that is committed to producing some of the best, intellectually sound and morally accountable leaders in the nation and in the world.

The university particularly trains them in problem solving by exposing them to resources that build up their critical think and analytical mind, the location is also pretty cool as it is not too far from the beach, not too for from the mountains, not too far from the city so students have access to a ton of opportunities and exploration/hang outs.

The university has a large community of students over 14,000 of them as at the time of this writing, California State University San Marcos ranks among the top 40% best universities in the united states, it is one of the top public universities in the country also.

California State University San Marcos offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in about 4 colleges cutting across sciences and social sciences. There are over 30 bachelors and about 11 masters programs. The university provides financial aid for her students of approximately $10,500 and a number of them are subscribed to this.

Campus life here is pretty good as earlier stated, there are accommodation facilities which are good and well maintained, the community also has an active sports culture as students are into a lot of recreation and sports. There are a number of varsity teams and they are for both men and women. California State University San Marcos tuition and other fees covering cost of attendance go for between $18,000 - $37,000.

There campus also has a health center and pretty cool dining options for students . Also the university nickname of student teams are called the cougars.
