Institut Polytechnique de Dakar

Institut Polytechnique de Dakar is a privately funded and managed Senegal based university located in the nation's capital and largest city Dakar. The university was established in the early 1990s and it is one of the nation's oldest private universities/polytechnics. Polytechnic Institute of Dakar is a full time institution that is committed to training competent students in their respective areas of studies. the polytechnic makes uses of excellent education resources to ensure her students have good classroom knowledge of concept and goes ahead to make use of exceptional teaching method and practices to ensure that they have the ability to apply that knowledge to solve real world problems. The university is a full time coeducation university and it offers undergraduate academic degrees in fields basically cutting across science and technology. The polytechnic has no religious affiliation nor cultural affiliation, this allows for a quite diverse university community. Polytechnic Institute of Dakar runs a per semester academic calendar, it also has a relatively small student population compared to some of the tertiary institution in Senegal, however, the university community is growing. The university has a well laid out campus facility that is conducive for learning and gives students a chance to be creative and innovative as they learn, the campus has library, labs, good road network and other facilities
