KIM University

Kim University, is a Rwanda contemporary university that was established in the 2000s, the university like many other university is located in Kigali, Rwanda. And it is a privately funded and managed university. Since her establishment the University has been training her students to be excellent in academics and to be competent in industry. The university recognizes the gap in graduates across the world not being employable and ensure that her students have the knowledge and skillset they need to make meaningful contribution in their various aspects of study. The university is committed to the dissemination of knowledge to impact her immediate environment i.e. Rwanda and the world, it runs on a number of core values which it uses to run her operations and instill in her students during their academic stay, some of these values include, excellence, creativity and service. The university is involved in a lot of collaborative research with other universities and players in the industry to create solutions to problems and improvement to existing solutions in the nation and in the world. It is involved in pushing the frontiers of technological advancement in her own way. The university makes use of a number of digital/eLearning approaches in training her students. It offers full time courses in science, social science, technology and several other in her various faculties. It has no religious affiliation and it does not have a very large student’s population, although quite diverse. The university does not admit only one gender and it is not affiliated with any religion or culture, thus promoting a culturally inclusive community. KIM University has a tuition of between about 160,000 to about 400,000 Rwanda franc, it varies according to the different academic programs and degree types. The university has a lot of good facilities and her students really like the campus. It has good roads, great college building and several others.
