Kibogora Polytechnic

Kibogora Polytechnic, established in the 2010s is one of Rwanda’s polytechnics, it is a privately funded and managed institution and it is located in western Rwanda. The polytechnic was established seeing the need to impact lives in the society and help people be useful to both themselves and to their immediate environment, it saw the need for quality education in this part of the country and deiced to be the solutions. The Kibogora Polytechnic is committed to playing her roles in human development of skilled manpower who can also contribute to the nation's development in the long run. The university is affiliated with the Christian religion and not only trains her students in academics but also imbibes Christian values in their learning process,. Students of this polytechnic are exposed to how classrooms knowledge is used to solve problems in society. They are involved in lot of practicals during their training. The university is also a research based university and it makes a lot of contributions to preferring solutions to the nation's problems via research. Kibogora Polytechnic has a very small student population and it runs a per semester academic calendar. The university does not have a competitive admission process. It admits local and international students from different parts of the world and has a very small staff population. The university offers undergraduate degree programs in arts and socials sciences. The university has a very good academic campus which is great for learning, it provided some form of financial aids for her students and it is definitely one of the nation's leading university.
