National University of Science and Technology

National University of Science and Technology was founded in 1991, it is a technology centric university that is run and managed by the nation's government i.e. it is a public university. As the name implies it is one of the nation's technology oriented universities that is committed to the development of human capital/manpower in the area of technology for the nation, the university is one of Zimbabwe leading universities and has a very unique motto “think in other terms”. The National University of Science and Technology employs digital and eLearning approaches in training her students in their various academic fields. The university is involved in a lot of scientific research it firmly believes that technology can significantly improve lives in Zimbabwe and in the world and it committed to the discovery of that knowledge. The university is a coeducational university with a small and quite diverse student population, consisting of both national and international students. The university has a very competitive admission process. It has no religious and socio-cultural affiliation and welcomes every student, it is a culturally inclusive university. The university offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate academic degrees in various fields. Some of which cut across applied sciences, medicine, commerce, technology and a number of others. The university being a technology university has a number of well-equipped labs, it has a resourceful library and it provides her students with a lot of facilities to ensure they have an optimal learning experience.
