Universidade Jean Piaget de Cabo Verde

Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde is a private funded and managed university located in Praia, Santiago. The university was established in the early 2000s and since it’s establishment has grown to become one of the top universities in the country. The university as established to play a role in training the students of the country to be skilled manpower that are useful in industry and ultimately contribute to the nation's development. The university was the country’s first university and has promoted research, quality education, innovation and entrepreneurship in the country. Jean Piaget University of Cape is a culturally inclusive university. The university has a relatively small student population with a good amount of staff creating a healthy student to staff relationship, it runs a per semester academic calendar and has no religious affiliation, the university has very few international students also. Admission into this university is not very competitive. Jean Piaget University of Cape offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in sciences and social sciences. The university is also technologically inclined implementing some teaching methods that run on digital learning. The university tuition is quite affordable and it offers her students good facilities thus creating a conducive atmosphere for learning, some of these facilities includes good classrooms and labs, a health Centre, a every resourceful university library and other facilities.
