Université Saint Thomas d'Aquin is a private university located in Ouagadougou one of Burkina Faso’s largest cities, the university is a full time privately funded and manage university and it was established in the year 2004, the university is affiliated with the Christian religion. Saint Thomas Aquinas University is a full time four year university that is committed to provide quality education resources and teaching methods to her students the university has a small student and staff population with healthy student to staff ratio and ultimately relationship. The university is very culturally inclusive and it promotes academic excellence, good morals and creativity. Saint Thomas Aquinas University runs on a per semester academic calendar and does not have any socio-cultural affiliation, it is also involved in research and development in order to present solutions to different problems in the country and the world. It offers full time undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in several fields which include science and social sciences. The university has about six faculties, some of which include the faculty of medicine, faculty of science and technology and several others.
