Université de Maroua

University of Maroua, is a publicly funded and managed university located in northern Cameroon, the university was established in the year 2008. The university is committed to the providing equal access to quality education in the country, it is also committed to the distribution of quality education resources to the students and its community. The University of Maroua, has a number of core values that guides its operations, it is also a very culturally inclusive university. The university trains her student and provides them with excellent knowledge base and practical skillset for their various academic programs, it is also active in collaborative research with other universities in the country and key players in the country in order to provide solutions to problems within her immediate community and the world. The university run a per semester academic calendar, it is a full time coeducational university with a medium sized community, this consists of both students and staff, the university has a healthy student to staff ratio and offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in its various faculties, some of these faculties include the faculty of science, the faculty o economics and management, the faculty of arts and humanities amongst others. The university has a diverse student population, it has no religious or socio-cultural affiliation and so student backgrounds and so these areas aren’t used to deny them admission, the admission process is still very much competitive and the university also admits international studies, university tuition is affordable and the university campus is very well organized it consists of labs, classroom, accommodation facilities and several others creating an optimal learning environment for the students.
