Université de la Polynésie Française

Université de la Polynésie Française is a public university located in the French Polynesia, the university since its establishment in 1987 has been funded and run by the government. It is currently the only one in the French Polynesia and is located in a small town called Punaauia. The university is a research driven university that equips her students with a strong knowledgebase to serve as effective man power and contribute to national development. Students are endowed with the theoretical knowledgebase and practical skill set to solve problems in the French Polynesia and the world.

The university currently has no religious affiliation and admits students irrespective of their socio-cultural backgrounds. The Université de la Polynésie Française has a small student body and an equally small staff body to match leading to a staff student ratio of about 1:10. Université de la Polynésie Française runs on a per semester academic calendar and is a four year institution. Université de la Polynésie Française admits both local and international students however admission into this university is not extremely competitive.

The university is a coeducational institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate in sciences and social science. The Université de la Polynésie Française tuition is very cheap and affordable. The university has a well laid out campus with accommodation facilities, power, library and several others.
